Instructions

  1. Combine all dry ingredients (chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, paprika, cumin, and salt) in a small bowl.
  2. Mix well until evenly combined.
  3. Brown 2 pounds of ground meat (beef, turkey, or chicken) in a large skillet.
  4. Add the spice mixture to the cooked meat and stir to coat evenly.
  5. Add approximately 15 shakes of Cholula hot sauce (or to taste).
  6. Cook for 2-3 minutes more, stirring frequently, until fragrant and well combined.

Notes

This seasoning blend can be made ahead and stored in an airtight container for up to 6 months. Adjust the Cholula to your heat preference - start with less and add more as needed. Works great with ground beef, turkey, chicken, or even plant-based meat alternatives.
